Somvanshi International Academy, Nigohan, Mohanlalganj, Lucknow, aims at imparting quality education to student and moulding them into responsible and patriotic citizens of the country. Evaluation, Promotion And Reports
Regular and continuous assessment of the child’s performance in and out of the classroom is reported to parents/guardians in writing. For promotion, students work throughout the year as well as the performance in unit test and examination, is taken into account. To be promoted a pupil must secure 40 percent marks in each subject.

Summer : April to October (Monday to Saturday)
Class Nur. to VIII-8:00 a.m. to 12.40 pm
Winter : November to March (Monday to Saturday)
Class Nur. to VIII-9:00 a.m. to 1.30 pm
Visiting Hours With The Principal
Parents may have an interview with the principal on any working day between 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. with prior appointment.
Identity Card
All students will be in possession of Identity Cards issued by the school. They will be required to show their Identity Card at the gate when asked by the gate keeper.
Attendance, Absence, Fine and Re-Admission
- As regular attendance is an important requirement for successful results a minimum attendance of 80% of the total working days is required during the academic year, falling short of which the student will not be allowed to take the examination that year.
- The names of those students who do not turn up within 10 days of the opening of the school after summer vacation, will be automatically struck off from the roles and then for continuing there education in the school, fresh admission charges, as applicable, will have to be paid.
- A special certificate and a medal will be awarded to the students with 100% attendance.
- The leave application must be given a day in advance or earlier however, in case of any emergency the application with reason of absence must be produced when the student come to school the next day.
- Parents should fill the Record for non Attendance in the diary regularly for each absence to keep a record of their ward’s regularity in school.
- Students who have been on leave for more then one day i.e. 2,3,4 or 5 days, their parent must give a satisfactory reason for the absence in their application.
- Students who have been on leave for more than 5 days due to illness will have to bring a medical certificate from a registered medical practitioner at the time of rejoining the school.
- A student remaining absent without any leave with prior permission of the class teacher and not submitting leave application with sufficient convincing reason, will be fine Rs. 50/- per day as “absence fine” for each day of such unauthorized absence.
- Repeated absence without leave or unexplained absence for more then 10 consecutive days renders the student liable to have his/her name struck of the rolls. Readmission may be granted only on payment of fresh admission fee as applicable and the arrear, if any.
- A student whose name has been struck off for absence without leave and who is habitually late or persistently careless or in disciplined may not be re-admitted to the school.
- The principal has the right to suspend a student. The principal may also ask parents/guardian to withdraw their child from the school it his/her conduct or educational progress is not satisfactory.
- All entries of absence, late or half day leave should be made in the school diary and not on sheets of paper by parents.
Late Arrival In School
- School gate will be closed 10 minutes after the 1st bell rings.
- Late comers may not be allowed to enter the class without principal’s permission.
- More than three late arrivals in a mouth would lead to strict disciplinary action.
Withdrawls
- One clear calender month’s notice in writing, or a month’s fees in due of such notice must be given before a student can be withdrawn.
- Transfer certificates are not issue until all dues of the school are settled and T.C. charges of Rs. 500/- are paid.
- A student who fails twice, will not be permitted to continue his/her studies in the school, especially if he/she is below average in that class.
- Student can be asked to leave the school on the grounds of indiscipline.
Class Work And Home Work
- Class work, which includes oral work, written work, and class tests are taken into consideration for promotion.
- In all classes homework in English, Hindi, Mathematics, Science and other subjects is given regularly. Guardian are requested to kindly see that their children complete their homework regularly.
